Travelers looking for a new destination in Greece may consider the island of Paros, which now hosts a distinctive new property from Hyatt. Named after the famous ancient marble inscription that documented Greek mythology and history, the Parian Chronicle Hotel Paros features 50 guest rooms, each uniquely outfitted with either a private pool or a Jacuzzi.

Nikos Koutroumanidis, the general manager of the hotel, described the property as a sanctuary designed to honor its surroundings while providing guests with comfort. He noted that the hotel aims to move in rhythm with the island, offering an unhurried and generous experience deeply connected to the story of Paros.

The property was designed by Makridis Associates and is restricted to guests aged 13 and older. The aesthetic utilizes a palette of warm earth tones and soft neutrals, drawing inspiration directly from Parian marble. Guests can access the 120-square-metre Nipson Spa, which includes a fitness centre, a large outdoor pool, two single-sex saunas, and a double treatment room.

Dining is centered around the hotel’s signature restaurant, NAAO, which provides all-day service emphasizing seasonal ingredients and local recipes. The menu showcases Cycladic culinary techniques such as grilling, sun drying, and curing. Mornings feature regional cheeses, honey, olive oil, herbs, and fresh bread, while evening meals are paired with wines sourced from Paros and the surrounding Cyclades.

Situated in the village of Kampos, the hotel is located approximately a 20-minute drive from Parikia Port. Visitors traveling from Athens can reach the island via a ferry journey that typically lasts about three hours.
