A violent incident occurred late on July 4th in Coney Island, New York, leaving at least eight individuals with gunshot wounds. According to the New York Police Department (NYPD), officers were dispatched to 2929 West 31st Street following a 911 call reporting that multiple people had been shot.
Upon arrival, authorities confirmed that eight victims had sustained gunshot injuries. All of the wounded were promptly transported to various local hospitals for medical treatment. Among those injured are four juveniles ranging in age from 6 to 14 years old.
