The Prince and Princess of Wales, both 44, made a public appearance at the Commonwealth Games held at the Hydro Arena in Glasgow, Scotland, accompanied by their three children: 12-year-old Prince George, 11-year-old Princess Charlotte, and 8-year-old Prince Louis. The sporting event, which takes place every four years, features a variety of competitions including para-swimming, weightlifting, cycling, boxing, artistic gymnastics, and wheelchair basketball.

For the occasion, the Princess of Wales wore a green blazer paired with a black-and-white striped top, while Prince William opted for a gray suit with a blue dress shirt. The children were dressed in coordinated outfits; Prince George wore a white dress shirt, Prince Louis wore a blue dress shirt, and Princess Charlotte appeared in a white-and-black polka-dot dress.

This visit follows the official opening of the Commonwealth Games by King Charles and Queen Camilla on July 23. The royal family previously attended the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, England, which marked Princess Charlotte's debut royal outing at the age of 7.

The family's most recent public appearance prior to this event occurred on July 12 at the Wimbledon Championships in London. During that outing, Prince William, Princess Kate, Prince George, and Princess Charlotte were seen in the royal box for the men's singles final, though Prince Louis did not attend. That event featured several high-profile guests, including Jennifer Lopez, Nicole Kidman, Andrew Garfield, and Anna Wintour. Princess Kate has maintained a consistent presence at the Wimbledon finals since 2024, even while recovering from cancer. Other family members, including Queen Camilla and her sister Annabel Elliott, as well as Pippa Matthews, were also spotted at the tennis championships earlier in July.
