This visit follows the official opening of the Commonwealth Games by King Charles and Queen Camilla on July 23. The royal family previously attended the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, England, which marked Princess Charlotte's debut royal outing at the age of 7.
The family's most recent public appearance prior to this event occurred on July 12 at the Wimbledon Championships in London. During that outing, Prince William, Princess Kate, Prince George, and Princess Charlotte were seen in the royal box for the men's singles final, though Prince Louis did not attend.
