The shooting took place in the vicinity of the restaurant on Blue Lakes Boulevard North, a heavily trafficked commercial area that includes numerous major retail outlets and a movie theater complex. As part of the response, law enforcement closed roads surrounding the scene, including a nearby bridge, and advised motorists to utilize alternate routes.
Idaho Governor Brad Little addressed the incident on X, encouraging residents to follow the instructions provided by law enforcement. He asked that the public keep the Twin Falls community in their prayers while first responders and law enforcement managed the situation.
The investigation remains ongoing with the assistance of state and federal partners, including agents from the FBI who were deployed to assist local authorities.
