A massive crowd of 22,141 Pitbull fans successfully set the first-ever Guinness World Record for the largest gathering of people wearing bald caps. The event took place on Friday at London’s Hyde Park, serving as a unique prelude to the rapper’s performance at the British Summer Time (BST) festival.
Many attendees embraced the spirit of the occasion by mimicking the Miami-born artist’s signature look, complete with tailored suits, dark aviator sunglasses, and artificial goatees. Dressing in the style of the performer has become a popular trend among his dedicated fanbase at live shows.
Following the official adjudication, which confirmed there was no previous record for this specific feat, the 45-year-old hip hop star was presented with a certificate. Celebrating the achievement, Pitbull remarked, “Record breaking, record making, history in the making.” He further expressed his gratitude by stating, “Thank you London, thank you to the fans, thank you Hyde Park, thank you to the bald-es.”
The artist, whose extensive catalog includes hits such as “Fireball,” “Timber,” “Time Of Our Lives,” and “On the Floor,” marked the occasion as the first person to officially attempt this record.
